For some reason, there are no reviews about this motorcycle, I decided to fill this gap. I drive in good weather in the summer almost constantly in Moscow and the region. Before him was Katana (sport-tourist). I bought it in 2010 for 200 tr. from an authorized dealer. The ad was something like https://cars45.com/listing/volkswagen/beetle "purchased and serviced by a dealer office, perfect condition, mileage 3500 km." When I bought it, it looked like new, the mileage seemed real. When, with a run of 5000 km, I came to this type dealer for the 1st MOT and told the managers about it, I caught some grins on their faces. In short, over time, when I washed the bike several times and when all the pre-sale polishing was washed off, it became clear that the mileage was far from 3500, but all 35000. Yes, and repairmen in other places confirmed this. In general, the declared runs should be treated with some irony. Now to the point: Mot after a sports tourist is very comfortable, the landing is straight and not at all stressful, although my height is 186 and my weight is over a hundred. Suspensions are soft, but it does not bother, I got used to them for a long time. Only in aggressive corners is the rear slightly unstable (swaying) (shock absorbers, of course, serviceable). As for power: I absolutely have enough of it, although I drive fast. It is convenient to move through traffic jams, no problems. It may be good that there is no draft traction on the bottoms, but you can drive between cars very accurately, without being afraid to accidentally pull the throttle (in my case, nothing criminal will happen). I don’t see much point in writing about what exactly I replaced from spare parts. state of all
motorcycles are completely different. Let me just say that I do not regret the money, I serve as it should be. For two years spent about 60,000r on parts and maintenance. In general, the mot is cool, I advise everyone. Convenient, powerful, moderately beautiful, and not expensive. Maybe I’m wrong, but in my opinion, a liter in the city is too much, and 600-800 is just right.

I finally decided to write a review about my former motor friend, perhaps this information will be useful to someone. There will be several photos on which you can trace the evolution of my bike 🙂 I ordered it from Japan, through one of the local motorcycle offices, then I really wanted a motorcycle (it doesn’t matter which one, as long as it was), the financial possibilities were more than modest, and the suzuki bandit had a very attractive price, in which winter played an important role. Naturally, since the opening of category “A” by me, I had no strength to endure, therefore, when I saw the popular black motorcycle, I immediately made an advance payment :). The motorcycle, of course, turned out to be in a rather deplorable state, rust on the parts, old, cracked rubber. But I was glad that the mileage was relatively small. 11 thousand km Of course, before I had nothing to do with such a technique, therefore, I had to collect all the information from the world one by one. From the Internet, I learned what, how much and where to pour, what to twist, what to lubricate, etc. During operation, I lovingly inspected every node, every rusty bolt was cleaned, lubricated. The motorcycle turned out to be quite friendly, despite the revving engine, it was quite easy to control. The control levers are pressed well, very hard and have a hard move, when driving in dense traffic jams, the hands get tired very quickly. This is one of the reasons why I would not recommend this bike to girls. The box and gear shifting never failed, the response to the throttle
instant, neutral is intuitive and very simple, you can switch without depressing the clutch. The old tires turned out to be oak, they did not drive very well in the rain, and in cold weather it was simply disgusting, the wheels turned into hard plastic rollers, which immediately break into a skid when braking. Despite the almost perfect condition in appearance, I was not lucky with the acquisition and my motorcycle turned into a real bloodsucker! It all started with the fact that the bike just turned out to start. It started up only when you light up the starter from the car, warming up the starter to hot with countless starts. Having tried to solve the problem on my own, I had to resort to the help of a motor repair. Knowing how things are with auto repair, I did not want to use the services of third parties until the very end. But I had no choice, because I tried everything I read about on the Internet. Motor repairmen, having learned that I had a Bandit 250, did not really want to mess with him, but the thirst for profit took over. A whole bunch of hypotheses were expressed to me, what is the cause of the problem. Here, by the way, it turned out that it was in this engine volume that the Suzuki Bandit was an extremely unsuccessful motorcycle. After 4 days of repair, they called me and said that the motorcycle was repaired and you can pick it up. I was delighted and went to pick up, but I was disappointed. Despite the fact that the Hall sensor was replaced, the motorcycle started, but not as we would like … They ripped off a tidy sum from me for all, in fact, useless manipulations.
